Elvis Cole is the main character in a series of exciting detective novels written by Robert Crias. Mr. Cole served as an army ranger for the United States army during Vietnam and an ex security guard. He has proved to be quite rude and open minded, and quite the ladies man. Although he is obnoxious and loud he has shown repeatedly that he is a wonderful private investigator. Not much can be hidden from the man. But none of it would be possible without his trusty side kick to back him up.

Elvis' side kick Joe Pike is a more mild mannered man. Although more timid and quiet, he also has his share of experience dealing with unfriendly and dangerous people. He is an ex marine and ex Los Angeles police officer. On many occasions Cole referred to him as a samurai. In Cole's latest adventure, it is actually the side kick, Joe who turns out to be the star.

Even though Elvis Cole lives in Los Angeles California he has traveled to many costs, regions, towns and cities all across the United States due to his nature of work. Living in Los Angeles can be quite dangerous expecially when you are in Cole's line of work. Cole is no fool though, he is experienced in several styles of martial arts, and carries a .38 Dan Wesson hand gun in a shoulder holster. Elvis Cole is in no way scared to use violence. To tell the truth, he would much rather rough people up a bit than intimidate them.
